This workshop was organised by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and European Forest Institute to discuss the novel typology for Urban forests, urban green and urban trees.

About this event

The typology on urban forests as nature-based solutions (UF-NBS) is intended to provide grounding knowledge on UF-NBS for within the CLEARING HOUSE project, and beyond the project’s scope. This knowledge—i.e., the elements to be described in the project’s typology—is diverse, as CLEARING HOUSE focuses on Europe as well as China, and thus wants to assume a broad perspective on UF-NBS.

What does the Public Health Science tell us on forests as health infrastructure?

This paramount question kicked off the second day of the Urban Forestry Days (23 – 24 March 2021), organised by the European Forest Institute (EFI) together with the European Forum on Urban Forestry (EFUF) and the Horizon 2020 CLEARING HOUSE project. Urban Forestry Days (23-24 March 2021)

The European Forest Institute (EFI), the European Forum on Urban Forestry (EFUF) and the Horizon 2020 CLEARING HOUSE project organized two days of integrated activities on urban forestry (March 23-24 2021). This on-line event is targeted at advanced practitioners, established researchers, sector leading policymakers and those wishing to learn of the latest developments in Europe and beyond.  A special focus for this conference is Sino-Europe collaboration. The conference will be run in English with Mandarin translation.
